Books & Resources
I currently serve as the Director of Education for the National Sports Performance Association and am a team member with John O’Sullivan’s Changing the Game Project. Previously, I served as the Director of Research and Education for the International Youth Conditioning Association for more than 10 years and during that time, I wrote or collaborated with industry-leading experts to develop six certifications with textbooks and several other educational resources.
In addition to work in youth conditioning and long-term athletic development, I have written two additional historical non-fiction books related to my upbringing in Southern Illinois: Sensory Overload about the DuQuoin Street Machine Nationals and Season of Change about the 1948 West Frankfort Cardinals minor league baseball team.
Currently, I am researching knee injury prevention programs for female athletes and working on several new book projects. Additionally, I’m a regular contributor to RPM Magazine, TTUHSC Pulse Magazine, and right here on my very own website blog.
